Very comfortable and great support for a long-distance running!
I run a long distance and have recently developed a severe “runner’s knee” on both sides of my knees. I already have Osgood-Schlatter disease on my left knee which I also fractured (and has healed) last year, so realized that I’d need a good knee support if I run more than 10 miles.I have tried THREE (3) knee support braces/compression sleeves including “PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve” for that purpose, and wanted to list them for comparison.(1). Breg “FreeRunner”. Formerly prescribed for the fracture and designed for an athlete/runner to help with their rehab. It did a great job staying in place during my 13-mile run. But it did NOT completely keep my knee pain-free as it normally would with stairs and biking. I started to feel the same discomfort –> disturbing pain around 10 miles. The brace is bulky so occasionally rubbed against the other thigh – which is a big NO-NO.(2). Physix Gear Knee Support Brace (this product): this is more of a firm compression knee sleeve than a brace. It did an amazing job in protecting my right knee which was suffering runner’s knee. It fits like your favorite compression knee-high sock with no limit in movement and is definitely a more comfortable wear than PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve (#3). But the anti-slip grips of this knee sleeve at the top is tighter than PowerLix’s and may feel a bit too tight. It is however never uncomfortable and the sleeve stayed on without rolling or chafing for an entire full marathon!I ran my first full marathon race in this sleeve with peace of mind and ease of knee 🙂 It kept my right knee totally PAIN-FREE during and post race.(3) PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve: This is a BRACE that is in a form of a compression sleeve. It holds my kneecap in place, protects my Osgood-Schlatter bump (bone protrusion), prevents abnormal gait due to the uneven pulls by the thigh muscles, keeps the optimal temperature inside, allows FULL range of motion. I can flex my knee all the way. It is nice and tight but never uncomfortable.I wore this on my problem left knee and ran the full marathon race this past weekend. It stayed on without ever sliding/rolling down or chafing for the entire 26.2 miles and I did not have to worry or think about it. Most importantly – Absolutely NO PAIN during and post race. I was SO amazed.[OVERALL]Both “PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve” & “Physix Gear Knee Support Brace” (this product) did an amazing job and are highly recommended for long-distance runners. They stabilize the knee joint and prevent pain/inflammation by right support and compression but ut never restrict the movement or stop the blood flow – even for hours!*Sizing: I took the measurements 4 & 5 inches above the top of the BENT KNEE in a sitting position. They fell between 15.3 -15.7 inch. So according to the sizing chart provided by the company, I got a MEDIUM for “PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve” and a SMALL for “Physix Gear Knee Support Brace”. They fit perfectly.*Length: According to the product specification, “PowerLix Compression Knee Sleeve” is a bit longer than “Physix Gear Knee Support Brace”. But due to the very firm fabric of PoweLix and very stretchy fabric of Physix, Physix knee sleeve ends up slightly taller than PoweLix when I wore them.*Color:Grey/Black for Physix looks stylish, and the grey circle at the kneecap helps adjust the sleeve in the right position.Grey/Black for PowerLix (this product) is almost entirely black (see photo – upper right). It doesn’t look like the product photo on this webpage and thought I got a wrong product! Not sure about Blue which I didn’t get.I hope they both last long!!! Thank you for reading my long review 🙂

Good knee caps
I’ve been using these knee caps for a while now, and they’ve been pretty helpful overall. The material feels comfortable and breathable, so I can wear them for longer periods without too much discomfort. They provide a decent amount of support, especially during light workouts or daily activities.I did notice that they help reduce some strain on my knees, particularly when walking or standing for extended periods. The fit is snug without being too tight, and they stay in place fairly well most of the time.That said, for more intense activities or heavy workouts, the support might not feel strong enough if you need something more rigid. Also, sizing is important—getting the right fit makes a big difference in comfort and effectiveness.Overall, these knee caps are a good option for mild support and everyday use, especially if you’re looking for something lightweight and easy to wear.

A little tighter than expected
I measured per instructions. Medium. It is tighter than expected, but it is new. It certainly gave me the support I need; I didn’t feel like I wanted to scream ever time I took a step. . I like how it fits the back of my knee (doesn’t bunch up) and how the area that covers my kneecap is larger than the UFlex I have been using. It is also longer than the UFlex, which I particularly like. I think it will be great when I get used to it.

🎵AMAZING BRACE🎶
A very durable product that of course does not last forever but last long enough to justify buying another. I have tried many braces but this product is the best for a fast casual soft knee brace that gives the required support without being bulky. It is true to size. I have larger thighs, about 25 inches, and XXL fits wonderful. It loses elasticity after a few months of almost daily use. Great brace for a great price. Cheap enough to order another when the elasticity is gone. I wish they would give the consumer of the choice whether to get it in black or tan.

Perfect introduction to compression sleeve for 32 year old.
I am a 32 year old female that runs a few times a week but recently had an achy knee. With a 5K coming up, I wanted to get some kind of support to not make the matter worse and find an addition to my running gear long term (to avoid further issues.) The price point was perfect and the quality/comfort ability was amazing. I am 5’6 / 160 lbs and wasn’t sure about sizing so I ordered a medium and a large. The medium was way too tight and the large was the perfect fit. It hugged my knee just right and I was not in a rush to remove it once the run was over. It’s very comfortable and breathable. This is my first compression sleeve and I’m super impressed with the results. I feel no soreness or ache in my knee a day after the 5K/using. Def recommend!

Great value, provides good support.
I purchased the beige color as I like how it blends with skin tones as opposed to the black version. For the price these can’t be beat. They provide just the right amount of support without being too tight, but that is probably a function of the sizing more than anything else. My measurement was for a medium at 17″ and I bought one to try. It was a little too tight, so I ended ordering a large size and it felt perfect. These appear to be good quality, but only time will tell if they hold up.

I bought the knee support for a knee requiring help after surgery. I found it so comfortable and supportive I have bought another for my other knee which requires help as I get my fitness back when walking. Hills and stairs in particular have become much easier to navigate. It is very comfortable and does not rub or roll down. The delivery was fast. UPDATE 14th October 2019I have been using this daily for about a week and find it far more comfortable than the more expensive one I mention in my review.I have therefore purchased another identical one as a spare.I purchased this, as it was £5 less expensive than a similar product that I got via Amazon a short while ago.This knee support arrived promptly, adequately packaged with clear instructions, it appears to be very well designed and manufacturedAfter careful measurement I ordered a medium size as my leg measurement 4 inches above my thigh was just over 16 inches.As with my other knee support, Initially it felt too tight, especially on my upper leg and I thought I should have got the next size up, but as I got more used to wearing it it felt more comfortable.I wore it for eight hours before going to bed and think it really helped my arthritic right knee and hope I can get used to the slight discomfort due to tightness.I have it on now and it feels OK, but still a bit tight.I will wear it every day for the next week or so before coming back and updating this review.
