Great compression definitely supports the new mom tummy. Only complaint is that it's not for petite bodies. The compression sits above where I need it unless I let the crotch sag a bit.

The band does the job like it says it will. I could notice the difference in belly sidze after I wore for six hours the third day after I gave birth. Ive worn it about five days since. It received three stars because as I wore it through the day, it became uncomfortable. I have a long torso.. Body build 5'6 weighing 150 immediately post pregnancy (size 8), 130 pre pregnancy, , so that may be the reason I had this issue. When wearing it, I had difficulty figuring out where to place it… If I did it too high on my abdomen, I didn't have enough support where I needed it, but if I did it too low on abdomen I had a weird "roll" that formed above it, I had the same issue with straps. After four hours, I would find myself pulling it down, the straps, while they remained velcroed, I would still have to readjust because they would and up digging into me where my abdomen curves in. The positives: the material was comfortable, and after a week, I was told that it my abdomen looked like I had never birthed. Overall, the item is well worth it for the price, and I think I would still purchase this item if faced with the decision again. The problems I encountered, I believe, will be present unless I choose to spend on something out of my budget (>$200).

I bought this for after my third child was born. With both previous pregnancies I walked out of the hospital still looking 7-8 months pregnant and it took several month for my belly to shrink. This time I started wearing this belly wrap on the third day post partum. I am one week and two days post partum now and I have just a small "pooch" now, I just look a bit fluffy rather than pregnant. It really helped shrink my belly and I think is helping my ab muscles to come back together. I'm out of my maternity clothes where in the past it took me months to get back to my regular clothes.
I ordered the S/M and it was perfect. I am 5'4" and weighed in at 170 right before giving birth. It fits perfectly. I have been able to get it as tight as I desire even as my belly shrinks. I'm down 20 lbs and there is still room to make it tighter if I desire. I truly didn't think it would do much good but it really has. Those first few days at home it really helped support my baby less belly and helped ease some aching in my back.

I purchased this item for my wife after she gave birth to our baby. I could not find one in stock in the stores that was a size small. So this seemed like a great product, but do not be decieved. The velcro on this product is terrible. It will stop sticking and pop off ALL THE TIME!!! It started out as just a problem with the smaller bands, but later (only within a months worth of use) the large band will not even stick anymore. I have tried everything. I have made sure the velcro is clear of all lint, etc. NOTHING HELPS OR CORRECTS THE ISSUE!!! I think its unacceptable for a woman to have issues with a product like this, especially after their body has already gone through enough trauma. To have the bands come springing off is unacceptable. I finally got tired of seeing my wife fight with it and now I am writing this review. I recommend looking elsewhere.

This band worked wonderfully…. for ONE WEEK. Literally during the second week it started to fold and the Velcro started to expire. Is that possible?
For the first week of use I swear my tummy slimmed down INCHES and looked great. It also offered some back support and really felt great. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it passed one week because its grip was loosening, like it was worn out. Shortly there after my tummy actually started puffing back out!!
Ultimately, I had to go to another product to help with the belly bulge. There is no doubt in my mind that this product would've worked phenomenally for me if it lasted for at least 2 months. But ONE WEEK!?

I bought this wrap when I was expecting my first baby and began using it the day after he was born. I had a natural delivery but of course felt very flabby. This wrap was a life-saver and honestly made me feel so much better getting dressed or just in general because I didn't feel like my postpartum belly was "jiggly" and hanging out. It kept me feeling firm and in place, which was a MUST for me! It would occationally rub my skin if I didn't have it on right but that was my fault and not the product. I also washed it several times a week. After several months, it fell apsrt but agaon, that was due to the over washing! Being my first pregnancy and never have worn this wrap before, I can't say this was the reason my baby belly slimmed down so quickly but I will say that I would buy again and use it in the same way because I believe that it DID help with my belly! Would highly recommend and already have recommended this product to anyone expecting a baby!
