More comfortable and still effective.
So much more comfortable than what I was given at the hospital after my surgery!!! I had two ventral hernias repaired, one was incarcerated and required more intensive repair. I wore the binder given at the hospital after surgery and then after two weeks switched to this. It still gives plenty support I need , but much more comfortable. ** As a precaution , I would check with your Surgeon / medical personnel to make sure the strength of this binder is adequate for your situation. I would definitely size WAY up even 2 to 3 sizes. Even if you order a bit too big the binder adjusts. This binder is not as wide or quite as sturdy/thick as my hospital issued one but accomplishes what’s needed in my case.

Does the job at an affordable price!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased abdominal binder for post-laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery recovery. Though not recommended by anyone, I remember how helpful my old binder was after I had my two c-sections. Coughing, sneezing, laughing, etc. was bearable with the support of the binder and made my recovery more tolerable. I appreciated the breathable material and the elasticity of the bands. I will say the sizing was smaller than expected based off the charts. However, the price was hard to beat!

These come in a plastic case. That’s the nicest part. They are huge. Way to hard to put on. Once you do get it on right, you feel the Velcro scratch you. I’m sure I needed a smaller size. I don’t even know what size I ordered because it doesn’t say.

Fits well only problems I have I should have sized down due to the stretching and the Velcro. The soft side stretched long ways so it’s not wide enough for the rough side. So the rough side rubs on my skin. Compression is good. Not bully dreams well made .

Supportive binder for supraumbilical hernia
It is breathable ,quality as expected it is soft worked well to protect my incarcerated umbilical hernia till I had surgery now it helps with heavy lifting it helps support my back as well the fit was true to size the Velcro however is a little hard to maneuver I’d recommend it for a hernia if the doctor advises a binder

I have purchased the more expensive waist and belly bands. And this one was only $8.99, and it’s so much better. It goes right where you need it. It sticks well. I really love the design of this. It’s got the boning in the back. Yeah, you can put it down as low as you need. Without it ungripping, yeah, this is great, you don’t need the big, expensive one. This is perfect.
