Comfortable and look fantastic
Love these shorts for literally any active activity.I got a size small, I’m 5’3″ 138lbs, with an athletic/curvy build.I have worn these for:- walking and hiking- light gardening- playing roller derby- working out (weight training mostly)They have honestly been fantastic for all the above activities.The single thing I appreciate the most is NO camel toe!!! Literally never, ever. And because of the shape of the gusset, I don’t have to wear underwear with them, either. AMAZING.My second favourite thing is that the legs stay put pretty well. I don’t find myself constantly adjusting them even after things like squats or leg presses. Or even just when going from sitting to standing. They don’t ride up where they have no business being, either.My only con is the waist rolls a little. Not so much that it’s terrible, but enough that I do occasionally have to readjust it, usually after crunches or something that has my waist moving a lot in a scrunchy way.They’ve held up incredibly well to wear and wash. I throw in the washer with all my other clothes usually warm or hot setting. And then dry on medium or low with everything else.So far they haven’t pilled or stretched out or faded.The fabric is soft, but not thin. Completely squat proof. And the pockets carry my Galaxy S25 fine. They’d probably be a little shallow if you had a large phone, you’d likely need to take it out before you sat down as it might fall.Overall, I have recommended these to friends and team mates. And have just bought more because I find I reach for these more than any other pair I own.

Perfect Shorts for Every Activity
Wow. The best shorts ever. I can wear these to the gym, hiking, or under my summer dresses for modesty on windy days. Soft buttery fabric, very comfortable. I bought the black and beige colors and now I’m going to order MORE and in different colors. For reference, I am 5′, 155 lbs, and ordered a Medium. Perfect Fit with extra stretch room. True high waist as advertised AND squat proof. Very flattering. The waist band does not roll down as some annoying brands tend to do. Highly recommend. NOTE: fabric is on the thin side, so if you’re wanting something thicker for compression, this isnt it. This is breathable, comfortable wear for lounging indoors, exercise, or errand runs. I hope this review has been helpful.

Wow these are better than expected! The material is very nice- soft and smooth, feeling high end for a great price point. They are the perfect length at 5in. They are smoothing, have the pockets which is ideal, and don’t seem to roll when I moved around a bunch. I got the Large and I am in between L and M, and they fit well, just not too much compression so I would suggest size down if you want more compression. They would be perfect in nude for under dresses too and I will be purchasing more!

See through. Do not pass the squat test. I’m keeping them for around the house and under dresses. They are very soft and comfortable. Got an XL and they fit perfectly. 5ft tall, 180lbs

New black shorts are disappointing 😭
**Update 3/22/26: I was contacted by the seller after my negative review. They apologized for the bad experience and offered to replace the shorts that came in poor quality. They did so, and the new shorts I received were great quality like I was used to receiving from this brand. I’ve since ordered an additional pair without issues. Overall I do recommend these shorts to everyone! I’m not sure what happened with the two incorrect pairs I received, but I’m happy the seller corrected the issue!Original review: I’m not sure what happened to these shorts but they’ve gone downhill. Sunzels are my favorite bike shorts and I wear them daily. I recently bought a new pair and when it arrived it had a front seam. This is the first and only pair I’ve ever received with a front seam and the ad and reviews both said no front seam. I requested a replacement which arrived today. The replacement doesn’t say Sunzel, is made of a different material than usual, has a front seam again, and the band at the top is not one piece. I’m super disappointed. Oddly enough I ordered the hot pink pair at the same time and they are perfect, great quality, no front seam. Not sure what’s happening with the black pairs they’re sending out. Of the photos I’m sharing, the replacement pair has the big white tag in it, is see through when held up to light and has the thick band at the top of the shorts. The last photo is what sunzels usually look like with the logo printed on the shorts. It’s a much nicer, thicker fabric and isn’t see through. The waist is snug and doesn’t use a small band to hold then in place – they just stay put on their own.

Good price and excellent quality—no camel toe.
I’ve tried many different brands, and I always come back to buy from them. The fabric is very soft and comfortable—it doesn’t give you camel toe. They aren’t the best for lifting your butt or making it look bigger or nicer, but they are incredibly comfortable.

So soft. Stayed in place during a very sweaty leg workout. Love that they have pockets. Ordering a second pair. Long enough for no thigh rubbing but not so long they look silly.
