Thick Quality With a Perfect Boxy Crop Fit
I am genuinely impressed with the quality of this sweatshirt. It has real weight and thickness to it, not the flimsy feel that so many cropped styles have. Snagged this Stelle cropped sweatshirt in a small (I’m 5’6″, 135 lbs, 34C bust), and it’s overall a good pick for that trendy cropped look without being too revealing. I actually ordered both small and medium to compare, but the medium felt even more boxy around the shoulders – like it was swimming on me – so I stuck with the small for a slightly more fitted (but still oversized) silhouette. It’s a bit boxy in general, which gives it that relaxed, effortless style, but if you’re petite, size down for the best drape.What I appreciate most is the more cotton-y material – it’s not that super buttery soft stuff everyone raves about in reviews, but that’s exactly what I was after for a sturdier, everyday feel. The fabric has a good weight to it, so it’ll keep me warm on crisp fall days without overheating. The crop hits right at my hips, which is perfect for pairing with high-waisted jeans or leggings, and the color choices are spot-on.Haven’t tossed it in the wash yet, so can’t speak to durability there, but fingers crossed it holds up. Fit a little large/boxy but still cute. Would size down if in between sizes. The material is heavy and nice quality. Sleeves are a bit long for petite people, but they roll nicely.
