Too tight for a slipon
These shoes are so tight, there is no way they can be a slip-on or even a step in. I have to jam my feet into them. Once on, they are very snug – but not uncomfortably tight.

if you wear a 10 1/2 get the 11 or the 10W 11 is a little big but if you can handle it buy this size if not get the 10 1/2 Wide

Walking on clouds
I love the original Keds Champion lace up shoes. This new style did not disappoint. Slipped them on immediately and took the dog for a walk around the block. They felt soooo good. The cushioned insoles are really nice.

How my new Keds fit.
The pull on the tongue of the right shoe pulled out the first time I wore the shoe. The shoe feels as if it captured my foot and will not release it. I would not buy them again. I own a very old pair of Keds that I prefer.

Size down 1/2 size
I like these shoes for a casual day out, but not for a fitness walk workout. I am typically a 9 with very narrow feet. I ordered a 9, but these felt so wide and with the elastic laces there is no way to tighten them. I would size down a half size if you also have narrow feet. The tongue is held down with elastic straps. These rubbed along my foot and created a blister after a hour long treadmill walk. So, I took a star off. I think this could have been resolved if these shoes were tighter or smaller, but my foot had too much room to move around. They are comfortable though and offer a lot of support. I have high arches and these still seemed to do well, which is not always the case in athletic shoes. They grey and pink is super cute and I had a lot of compliments on them. Overall, great shoe, but the sizing feels off to me.
