I have used many compression belts and fajas over the years with lots of success. It was an old bodybuilding trick to wear these as you get closer to competition. It used consistently they work wonders.
I thought this was a good price and decided to try it and see how it goes this time around.
The shaper is light weight and long in the torso, which is perfect for me since it won't ride up as easily making it obvious you are wearing one.
I chose large and felt I should have sized to small or medium. I have been wearing L in recent years and it was the suggested size based on my statistics.
I do feel a slight compression when wearing it, but not as extreme as I would like for the results. I believe had I gotten a medium I would have been able to get more out of this shaper. I might order the smaller size and gift this to a friend, since it is a nice shaper and well made.
It is well made in that it hooks and then has a layer to zip up over the hooks.
This double layer of hook & zipper is not something that was around when I started using these shapers/fajas.
I actually like this stitching and material better. It feels nice to wear and could easily see myself working out with this on to get some extra water off.
This will become part of my workout gear while I lose some excess weight and then in a month will just order 2 sizes down to be sure I get more mileage out of the next shaper. But for now it will help stabilize my core and has enough compression to keep me from using my stabilizers too much. The thickening of the stabilizers is what you are trying to stop when using this. That is what helps give a more snatched look – training other muscles and not thickening the sides.
This is well made and comfortable to wear all the time. Just be more mindful of the sizing.

Love my waist trainer
Had surgery took me forever to find one like this in an xs. So far I really like it I feel like it worth the money. it was under $20 and that’s always a good feeling. It feels and looks great the quality is good the zipper quality is really good no problems and I been taking it on and off everyday for a couple of weeks and I have no problems.

I love this waist trainer. It is very good for the price. I really appreciate the comfort of it and the fact that it has the corset buckles and then the zipper for added support. It does not stick to my skin like ones that I have had in the past and the material is easy to clean. I would purchase this again.
