Awesome backpack!
Bought this backpack for a recent trip to Alaska. Absolutely love it. Perfect size for personal item on flight, taking on tours, biking, and walking around town. Had plenty of room for my packable rain coat, binoculars, gloves, extra shirt, water bottle, and miscellaneous other items. The inside sleeve worked great for my ipad and travel documents. The outside zipped pockets were good for items I needed to get to quickly without digging through the main compartment. Also, the price was good. For some reason two colors had a coupon when I ordered, so I got black cherry for less than $25. I really like the color. It looks red in the listing, but it is actually a really nice black cherry shade. It is also water resistant, but does get wet in ongoing rain. I put my items in a plastic bag in the backpack when rain was expected and my stuff stayed dry. It didn’t seem to wet through to the inside, but it never poured when I used it. Very comfortable to wear. Quality is good and zippers work well. It is a packable if you want to put it in your luggage or for storage. Definitely recommend!

Lightweight & folds easily
Bought this to use when I travel, ie disneyland, day hikes in national parks, etc. It’s extremely light weight, holds a lot, and packs into itself easily. Shoulder straps seem comfortable though I admittedly haven’t used it out in the wild yet. I don’t plan to hold much more than a jacket, snacks, sunscreen, & a water bottle or two so this should do just fine for my needs. Wish it had a chest strap but cest la vie.

Light, strong, comfortable, and very handy on trips
I purchased this as a travel back pack to replace an old Amazon version, which they no longer carry. Its costs about double the old Amazon pack, but is a bit larger and a bit more comfortable. It is very light weight thin, so it takes very little space in a suitcase. I’ve carried all kinds of loads in it, including computers, a weekend of clothing, and groceries. It does all this very well, while looking dressy enough for short business trips and touristing in places where folks are not all dressed in shorts and t shirts. I expect it to be as durable or more than my old Amazon pack, which was surprisingly so, lasting hundreds of similar uses.

Features and quality at an affordable price (especially on sale)
Got this on sale for $20 during Prime Day and I’m glad I did. This bag frequently goes on sale so, if you’re thinking about it, you can always wait to see if it drops in price. The 20L feels like the perfect size. Considering the straps are thin (it is a packable backpack after all), loading up a bigger version with tons of stuff doesn’t seem like the best idea. I wish it compacted a little better/smaller but it’s still pretty impressive. It takes a little practice to get it packed and unpacked but once it’s ready it’s very useful– lots of handy pockets and the main compartment is roomy. The water bottle pockets are a bit too loose and my bottle fell out during my testing of it, so I don’t think I’ll use it much in the wild.

Wonderful High-Quality Packable Backpack!
This is an outstanding packable backpack! There are 2 quick access pockets, room for a 13 inch MacBook Air, and it is comfortable to carry! Just as good as more expensive options. The zippers are great! It is very lightweight. I like the color (spruce green) and the way it looks on my back. I am actually using it for work.

Great as personal item on plane or as day pack
I slipped my small crossbody purse into this backpack and used it as my personal item on the plane and as my bag for day trips and an overnight stay. Plenty of room inside but that top pocket, the most accessible, is impossible to use due to that crazy strap loop that kept getting caught in the zipper. Finaly, the straps need better grip. They kept sliding off my shoulders.

Super roomy, light, packable, and durable!
I got this for a trip to Malaysia and love it! The 30L capacity is roomy yet it didn’t take up much space in my suitcase. It easily fit overnight essentials for a part of the trip when we couldn’t take luggage. It has the high quality and comfort you’d expect from Eddie Bauer. Highly recommend!!The care instructions say “do not wash” but I was nasty sweaty in the rainforest and thought I’d risk it. It washed beautifully in warm water on the delicate cycle (my machine does not have an agitator).

great for travel. Bag holds up well when stuffed full of finds while on day trip. Does not feel like it’s going to tear anytime soon. wish the bag packed more elegantly into itself but that’s just me being picky
