Supportive ribbed set, stays squat-proof
This is a 2-piece ribbed workout set with a halter sports bra (sweetheart neckline and adjustable neck buckle) and high-waist leggings with a wide, double-layer waistband and a scrunch-style shaping seam. I wore it for yoga, a light strength session (squats, lunges, and deadlifts), and a longer athleisure day to see how it handled sweat, movement, and waistband stay-put. I’ve used it multiple times over about 2 weeks.**The Good (Specifics):*** **Thick enough to feel squat-proof:** The ribbed nylon/spandex blend (90% polyamide, 10% elastane) feels substantial without being stiff. In deep squats and forward folds, I did not notice the fabric turning sheer, and it maintained coverage at the hips and seat.* **Waistband stays in place:** The wide, double-layer ribbed waistband has a compressive feel that smooths without feeling like it cuts in. During a workout with repeated squats and transitions on the mat, it stayed up and did not roll down.* **Bra fit is adjustable and more comfortable than a fixed halter:** The built-in adjustable buckle at the neck makes it easier to dial in support and reduces the “pulling on the neck” feeling common with halter tops. The ruched center and sweetheart neckline also help it sit flatter and look more shaped instead of purely sporty.**The Tradeoff:**This is a hand-wash-only set, which is higher maintenance than most gym clothes. Really Nice Set, But The Top Is Too Small If You Are Busty
I love two piece sets, they’re honestly one of my go to outfits whether I’m working out or just running errands. I usually wear my Beyond Yoga sets, but I’ve been wanting to branch out and find some other workout sets that still look cute but don’t always come with that higher price tag. So when I came across this set by NcmRyu, I wanted to give it a try, and I’m so glad that I did.The quality of this set is really nice. It feels like great quality and is well made. The material is on the thicker side, which I actually like, and it has a bit of texture to it while still being soft. It’s stretchy, comfortable, and feels supportive without being too stiff.For reference I am 5’6” weighing 146lbs with a 26 inch waist. I ordered my normal size medium. The leggings fit really nicely. They are high waisted with a nice wide waistband that is thick and stays in place well. The length is great too, they go right down to just above my ankles. I also like the scrunch detail on the back, it gives a flattering, lifted look.The top is really cute and I like the design, especially the adjustable halter strap and the built-in bra with removable padding. The padding is removed from the inside front of the bra, which took me a second to figure out. The only issue I had is the fit of the top. It was way too small in the chest area. It fit fine everywhere else, but it was tight enough that it felt like everything was about to pop out. What I like most about this set is how it looks overall. It gives that sculpted, put together look while still being really comfortable. It’s definitely a cute set and I really wish the top fit better because I would love it even more.At the current price of $29.80 (as of 4/4/26), I think this is a good value. You’re getting a flattering set that has that higher end look and feel without the high price. Overall, this is a really nice workout set. The leggings fit great, the quality is there, and it looks really good on. The top sizing is something to keep in mind though. If you are busty, I would size up or at least check the size chart. I still like it enough that I’m planning to order another color in a bigger size because it really is a nice set. I would recommend it.

High compression, mid-rise, great quality
I am 5’2 about 128 lb, with a 27-in waist and the small fits perfectly. I had to adjust the halter top to the tightest level but it works! The material is really high compression and thick. Definitely comparable to similar styles from mainstream brands .Really good deal, if you like high compression matching sets.I have a high natural waistline, so I normally buy athleta ultra high waist leggings (small). These are more of a mid-rise, and you can see that it’s below my belly button, however, the shirt goes all the way down to the top of the pants so I’m fully covered. Taller people may find this shirt may be slightly cropped.I was really excited for the butt scrunch in the back, it actually does make my bum look bigger and rounder, however, due to the high compression, I had to fuss around with the placement and positioning of the butt part.The built-in bra in the top is perfect for my small chest, I absolutely do not need to wear another bra underneath this largely because of the compression. Larger chest in women may find it’s not supportive or not cover enough.The only downside is that these are definitely not camel proof. The caveat is that it only appeared when I tried to pull the pants up to my natural waistline. When I kept The waist below my bellybutton (enter muffin top, IYKYK), there was no camel in the crotch. So just be aware, don’t pull these all the way up, haha overall I really like this set and they’re great.Update – After wearing these all day, the top kept rolling up. I tucked it into the bottoms and it helped.
