Three Is Better Than One
Imagine my surprise when I opened the package containing the “Cmipeob 3 in 1 Postpartum Belly Band Abdominal Binder” and THREE separate binders spilled out: a Papa Bear, a Mama Bear and a Baby Bear. I actually appreciate getting three smaller versus one large binder, because in the Product Photo, it looked so low on the models hips, it looked as if it would cut into her upper thigh, especially if she bent down. But with three separate ones, people can figure out the best combination for their particular bodies.All three are different in sizes and configurations. The “adult” ones each have “boning” similar to a corset. The “Mama Bear” has boning and two inner bands, which I would place against the lumbar region. The Baby Bear Band is not as tall as the parents but it also has a large inner band as well.I’m a retired RN who worked in Mommy Baby Postpartum for years. Occasionally, one of my patients would bring an abdominal binder from home. We also offered them to our patients, but they were basically “no frills” and didn’t have the boning or the inner bands. Having had a few babies myself, I would have really appreciated using them during my recoveries.This Old Mommy Baby Nurse gives this product 2 thumbs up (or, in this case, 3 bands up). It would be a wonderful and necessary gift for any Mommy To Be.SIDE NOTE: Let me start by saying my last cesarean section was 50 plus years ago and my last delivery was almost 40 years ago. Basically, I am 40 years postpartum, and I still have a belly to prove it. So, I don’t think these binders should only be marketed to postpartum women, although it is a great demographic and one which could greatly benefit from it.I wear a back brace at work, which helps my poor aching back. It is the best brace I have ever used, after trying others, but it doesn’t cover my entire belly. I’m going to continue to use it and use the Baby Bear Band on my upper belly. I’m thinking that will really help my bad back and bad posture.

Strong Belly Band
When I first opened this, I was a little confused because it came in three separate pieces and mine didn’t include instructions, so it took a moment to figure out how to use it. The material itself is strong, the Velcro is well made, and the overall quality feels solid. However, the sizing runs small for me. I know it’s meant to compress, but even so, I think this particular size would better fit someone closer to an XL. It does appear to do what it’s supposed to do, and once you get it on, it offers good support, but I would personally size up because there’s only so much sucking in I can do. The color is consistent, the construction is sturdy, and there were no defects at all. If you get the right size, it’s a good value and a well‑made product that should work as intended.

Very well made and adjustable for fluctuation.
I haven’t used this yet since I won’t need it for a few more months, but I wanted to go ahead and have it ready for postpartum.First impression is really good. The material feels soft and breathable, not stiff or uncomfortable like I expected. It seems well made and has a nice stretch to it without feeling cheap.I like that it’s adjustable in 3 areas and adds all that extra back support. It gives me peace of mind it’ll actually be adjustable to you throughout different stages instead of buying several to accommodate you with weight fluctuation. It’s good for c-section as well so that offers even more peace of mind just in case.Overall, I can’t speak on how it performs just yet, but it a solid product and I’m glad I got it ahead of time instead of scrambling later. The price for the quality is on point.
