Great shoe for larger women
They are great shoes; I am a large size woman who needs a good shoe. I have bad knees and plantar fasciitis. I have searched and tried on so many shoes at several different stores and on amazon. I was getting frustrated. I decided to try these shoes and hoped I wasn’t going to make another “go back” drive. I was really impressed with these shoes; they gave me cushion and stability. I was able to take out the inner sole to add my prescribe sole. It was a perfect fit. I wore them out on a long walking event and had no problems except getting used to the cushion. That took a little time to get use too but overall I am very pleased. I ordered a 9 wide. Dark color to hide dirt. I sprayed them with water repellent just to make sure the water repels. The traction is great no slipping at all. They are nice to look at and goes with a lot of outfits. The price was a bit steep but worth it if it works for your feet.

Ghost Shoes
I’ve been wearing Broks Ghost series shoes for a number of years, but had never bought actual trail shoes. Ghost shoes always fit, right out of the box and while I was hiking, not trail running and I can’t vouch for them as running shoes, I can attest to them being really great hiking shoes. Very good tread, very comfortable weight and made me very sure-footed on the trail. They are really great shoes.

Best running/walking shoes ever!
Best running shoes I have ever owned. I have serious problems with my feet- two ruptured Achilles tendons and several broken bones, affecting both of my feet over the years from very aggressive sports and running injuries. I have struggled with finding shoes that fit comfortably and support my feet, legs and back. Believe it or not I still like to jog and work out hard, even with all my previous injuries. I have tried every possible shoe out there. I didn’t expect much with these but when I put them on I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! I wear them everyday now, not just for running because they are so comfortable. Note*. I tried different versions of Brooks and these specific shoes are the only ones that work. So much so I splurged and bought another pair to make sure I have them in my closet and ready to go when my first pair wears out! I bought them for my 88 year old mom for her birthday in March and she couldn’t believe how great they were. She also says they are the best fitting and most comfortable shoes she’s ever owned. At 88 my mom still rides her bike 10 miles a day or walks 5 miles – I come from a very active family! I can only hope that when I’m 88 these shoes are still available!!

Brooks for comfort and durability
I ordered my first pair in my usual 7.5 wide size. They do run a bit big so I returned for the size 7.0 wide. I am using them for walking on the dirt trails near my home. After 3 days of 2-4 miles each day, I can say they are very comfortable. Good grip on the trail and really comfortable. I have tried other brands and I always go back to Brooks. At my age, I am done trying any other brand. My husband and best friend are in agreement that Brooks is also their brand of choice.

Great support and comfort
Perfect for the miles I walk. I have several pairs of Brooks Adrenaline and have been happy with them. These however are even more comfortable. Great support, lightweight and for me, the pattern is more exciting than a plain color.

A Brooks Ghost with some real nice grip!
Absolutely fabulous shoe, but…sadly…I need a higher arch. The arch support is just a tad shy of reaching its goal. I normally wear the Ghost series running shoe from Brooks, but spotted these. They are a very nice addition to the Ghost series.Walking and running where I live tends to be more offroading than pavement. Our town’s roads are still gravel and what sidewalk there is has issues. We also attend outdoor auctions. Standing around for hours, walking acres looking at equipment tends to take a toll on my feet.The tread has a fabulous grip and they did the job of cushioning my heel strike very well.The usual good fit I always get from Brooks, and lightweight.Maybe now I won’t slide and fall chasing down farm animals! :p

New Favorite Shoe
I’m not a runner by any means. But I do have a lot of hip and lower back issues. I’ve had a lot of Brooks shoes over the years, but stuck to the Launch or Adrenaline. The amount of cushion provided by the Ghost is just what these old bones needed. Fit true to size. Love the desert camo look to them.

Not for high arches
I have owned multiple pairs of Brooks Ghost shoes and they have always been extremely comfortable. These were awful. I have skinny feet with high arches, which has not previously been a problem, however my feet were bulging out of these shoes to the point where the tongue wasn’t even covering my foot. Do not buy these shoes if you have high arches.

Hält was er verspricht. Ich laufe viel und regelmäßig. Den Ghost Trail habe ich mir für meine Hausrunden mit Asphalt und Waldwegen geholt. Hat mehr Grip und Stabilität als der Glycerin für di Straße und federt besser als der reine Trail-Schuh.Top fürs alltägliche Training.
