This DLOODA tennis skirt/skort turned out to be a way better find than I was expecting, particular in terms of quality and fit. The fabric is actually much thinker and sturdier than I expected (I was anticipating a really cheap/thin spandex-y material for this price and was pleasantly surprised that this skirt is made of material that will actually hold up to athletic wear). Even though the material is thicker than expected, it’s still really breathable, which is a must for this kind of piece and is also soft and comfortable. It has a nice flow to it and doesn’t wrinkle excessively even when scrunched up and packed into a gym bag, so there quality of the material gets full points across the board. The skirt/skort is well-designed too. The interior pockets in the shorts under the outer skirt are large enough to hold a tennis ball each, if you want to wear it literally as a tennis skirt (but the pockets are also great for storing your phone/ID/etc. if you want to wear the skirt more generally for athletic activities that aren’t just tennis. Now, the function is probably more important for most people when it comes to athletic wear like this, but it’s also worth noting that, as a bonus, this skirt was also really flattering. It might be a little on the short side for some people for daily wear (but appropriate for athletic wear for sure), but the high-waisted cut is super flattering and makes it actually really cute on and gives it a street style vibe that makes it feel versatile to wear out and about if the length isn’t an issue for you personal taste.
