Great Speedo one piece for women who actually swim in the ocean
Another winner! I bought this as a second suit because I was not sure I would like the other Speedo I bought that has a zipper. This fit differently but was no less for it. This is a great suit that is more modest than the other speedo and not quite as warm but had the same great fit and no tug nature. It fit bigger than size which surprised me so I would order one size down from what you think. Easy to actually swim in and easy to put on and off. I have never had a suit like this and the other speedo I bought that actually made swimming a joy. Great in ocean water and looks great and cleans and drys easily. Worth the money

Update: I ended up buying a size 4 to see if the fit would be better and it was. It was slightly too tight around my thighs but I think in the water, it should expand. I wasn’t comfortable with how large the top was with the size 6. My size 4’s fabric is thinner than the size 6 fabric. I suspect the size 6 is old inventory so the material is more substantial. Keep this in mind while purchasing.I bought this swimsuit because I’m a pear shape and I was getting sick of wearing swim shorts with my suit because half of my butt would be hanging out. I was wary of buying this suit because of the price tag. But I splurge because I am going to start lap swimming soon. I looked at most of the reviews before I ordered. According to the size chart, I should be a size 4 but reviews said to size up so I did. I am around 118lbs, 5’1 with measurements of 32-27-38. The size 6 was a bit tight around the thighs and was almost loose on the top. The length of the straps was just right on me. I knew that the fit would be different when wet so I tried it on wet. The leg opening definitely expanded and it was comfortable. The top also expanded but it doesn’t look like I would have any exposure problems. If anything, I’ll sew in some places to make it tighter but the soft cups help for the suit to stay in place on top. If I lose any more weight, I would need the size 4 and deal with a tighter bottom. Would I say this suit is for pear shapes? No, but it provides a good option to cover up our best assets. It looks like it’s made more for people with more proportional measurements with a bit more meat in the area butt area. But it works better for pear shapes than anything else I’ve tried. I looked long and hard for a modest swimsuit with soft cups and this is it. The suit also dries quickly. It is very well made. It also had an added benefit of hiding any stomach pooch. I’m not completely flat in that area and you can barely tell I have that pooch there.

I purchased this suit in January to join my lifeguard son at his “Mamaw and Papaw class” where mature adults have open swim at the local high school pool. It’s perfect and as an avid (although not great) swimmer/hot tuber, this suit has stood up well the last 6 months. I like the way the legs are cut longer. I have an apron belly after 2 c-sections. I struggle to find bottoms that cover my belly and still cover the inside of my leg. There is usually not enough fabric. Because of the boy leg cut of this suit, it perfectly covers all of that but still appears to be a regular suit. Perfect for plus size ladies. Lays modestly around the bottom and bust, perfect to be around my elders to swim. May I advise that you measure yourself and do not size down. I saw other reviews that talked about “white threads” coming out over time. As someone who has sewn Lycra and 4 way stretch garments, those “threads” are the elastic within the fabric that busted because you bought the suit too small. The suit has held well in chlorine and bromine. I do make sure to rinse it out after each use. I’ve used it at the very minimum of 3 times a week the last 6 months I’ve had no color loss, dry rotting or elastic busting. Bless you Speedo, this one’s a keeper. 5/5 would recommend with proper sizing and care this is a fantastic plus size suit.

Wonderful suit! I’m so glad I purchased this.
I have a VERY difficult time finding one piece suits that fit me. Not only am I not the “skinniest” of females, but I’m also very tall (6’2) and have a larger bust size.Needless to say, when it came time to purchase a suit for a required swim class for my major, I was beyond frustrated. I couldn’t find a SINGLE suit in the stores around me that fit right or that I could even get ON my body. I can’t even say how many stores I tried in center city Philadelphia before I gave up and decided to check here on Amazon.When this suit came in the mail and I tried it on, I was holding my breath hoping and PRAYING this was going to work for me. My prayers were answered, and I wasn’t at all disappointed.The conservative cut makes it an extremely comfortable suit, and I don’t have to worry if anything is “falling out” while I’m wearing it. I especially loved the way the bottom is cut, reminds me of “boy shorts” which I personally find comfortable. It even hugged my body well enough that I actually feel good wearing it, which I can testify NEVER happens when I wear bathing suits, EVER.I had to swim three times a week, and I followed all of the instructions for “care” of this product. Rinsing it out after each swim and then bringing it home to dry. I know a lot of us women fear the “see-through” bathing suit, especially after wearing it multiple times for repetitive exercise. From my experience however, I’m protected in the water and out and have yet to have had a problem. I foresee myself using this suit for regular swims until it falls apart at this point.I would really recommend this for any woman out there with a body type like mine. It was worth the price for me.
