Great water/walking shoe
Great fit, very comfy with or without socks. Wore on flight …good support. Went to Maui during Kona low storm 1 and 2. Wore them often. Fast drying. Recommend

Best water shoe on the market 10 STARS.
I water walk 90 minutes every day in a heated sport pool. I have purchased many types of water shoes and this is by far the BEST water shoe on the market. I needed a shoe with more support and comfort and this shoe is it. It is extremely comfortable in the water and NO blisters and I DON’T wear socks . My feet are so happy. I wear a size 8 in a pickleball sneaker but in this water shoe I purchased a size 7 and it fits perfectly. I love the shoes so much I ordered a second pair the minute I got home from wearing them the first time. The laces are the perfect length. I tighten them up then push down on a lock button then tie the extra shoelace just as I do with all my sneakers. Some reviews say they are slippery but before I wore them I twisted my foot back and forth a couple times on cement and I have no issues with slipping but I always walk very carefully with my wet shoes in the wet locker room. They dry faster than all my other water shoes. And they are super cute.

Great water shoes!
These water shoes are great. I use them in aqua class and they give me great support of my feet when moving through the water. They take a few hours to dry. They are comfortable to wear.

Great for plantar fasciitis
I wear a size 9 1/2 in athletic shoe. Size 9 fit best even though toe box was a bit tight. I have plantar fasciitis and these felt great walking in the pool. Great cushioning on the heels. I paired shoes with Wrightsock Explore Quarter Hiking Socks and loved the feel. Shoe didn’t dry overnight still damp but not an issue since I am wearing only in the pool. I gave 4 stars since I don’t know how long these will last being exposed to chlorine regularly.

Great item
These are the best water shoes I have tried. I do water aerobics five times a week and these shoes. Keep my feet in good shape. They’re comfortable, they dry quickly. I’m very happy with them. They fit nicely.

Good support. Good value. Size runs large.
I had this brand water shoe years ago and got back into water aerobics recently. It was not available locally. I ended up wearing 2 sizes smaller than my normal walking shoe. So I’d say it runs large. Very good support. Lasts a long time. Highly recommend. Would also be good for kayaking or canoeing. Dries overnight most of the time.

Best shoe ever. Love the way this can be a water shoe or a walking shoe. Fits very well. Higher price point than other water shoes, but well worth it for the quality. Did not know the Ryka brand but now will order many colors and styles. The shoe strings do not slide and hold a knot well. The way you can remove the shoe liner is wonderful as it is easy to wash… or fast to dry. No blisters, not scraping, and have worn for almost a year and look how well they have hel up (second pic)

Poor customer service for manufacturing defect
I purchased the Ryka Hydro Sport water shoes in May 2025 for aqua exercise classes. They have been used only for light pool workouts, and I tighten the laces normally — never forcefully.After less than a year of limited use, the stitching securing one of the lace loops tore during class. This is a structural part of the shoe, not cosmetic. It should not fail under normal use.Importantly, I did not use these shoes at all during the summer months because our classes were held in deep water where shoes were not needed. So this was not heavy or continuous wear.I contacted Amazon and Ryka. Amazon offered no assistance outside the return window. Ryka requires customers to pay to ship the shoes back for inspection, may keep the shoes if they decide it is not a defect, and estimates a turnaround of at least four weeks. That is an unreasonable process for exercise footwear needed regularly.For a brand marketed for water fitness, I expected better durability and better customer support. I will now be paying out of pocket to have them repaired locally.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

Pedí estas zapatillas con un poco de miedo al no poder probármelas, sobre todo porque utilizo plantillas especiales. Pero he de decir que estoy encantada con ellas, no solo son comodísimas y me quedan perfectas sino que he podido cambiar la plantilla interior que traen por la mía sin problemas. Las uso para dar clases en piscina y se secan muy rápido, drenan muy bien el agua que entra y no se siente el pie mojado ni resbaloso. Las recomiendo para todos los que trabajéis en piscina.
